Celtic’s sixth five-goal offering in 12 matches. They are now on 111 league goals and 157 for the season. The 2016-17 Invincibles managed 106.

Aberdeen looked bereft. Much pressing but not for long and with half-arsed intensity bar quite a few naughty late ones.

Celtic revealed nothing of their Cup Final approach but do not be fooled into thinking the Champions will face other than fully committed opposition at Hampden. Sorting this mess of a side out for Jimmy Thelin can wait until after that.

There was a clear Bhoy of the Match as signposted on the latest Huddle Breakdown Extra Time pod.

Honourable mentions for Anthony Rolston (correct pronunciation : )), Yang and Maik Nawrocki. Rocki by name and nature - much to admire in a wholehearted performance with a few rickets as can be expected from a rusty player.

Young Sean McArdle sparkled briefly to set hearts a-flutter.
