The famous Easter Road slope, which meant that the north end of the pitch was six feet lower than the south, was removed at the end of season 1999/00 and two years later the current West Stand replaced the ageing main stand increasing the capacity to 17,500.
Great pod as always folks! I need to stop listening while doing food prep, my attention isn't always great when split.
Aye the question is sit in and hope to hit them on the counter or sit then have a go ta the end. I think Juco's approach sounds good but I doubt that is what we will do and even if we did, that it'd be effective. According to to transfermarkt they a have a player valued at 140m for f... goodness sake.
To risk sounding like a fencing football manager, it comes down to XI v XI, om the day we can beat them the way a Raith can beat us in the Scottish cup final. Wee tenacious teams can have a good (and lucky) day against a big team, they maybe are caught out, and I hope for that tonight.
We have a good team for our resources and I can see a draw or even a narrow win but I think 2 clear goals is step too far... but stranger things have happened.
If it happens - not a weird a turn of phrase as some of Juco's today - I will be over the moon but I won't slaughter a good Celtic team who have done well in the UCL this season for not beating a team that starts the competition as genuine challenger for the trophy.
We can do what we can and as long as we don't get a 7,8,9-0 I will be relatively happy. A win though... it's VERY nice to dream and I VERY MUCH hope we do. I'd just warn against expecting it. Celtic players, you have to have belief, Celtic fans, hope not expectation HH
