On Idah. One thing that frustrated me in the 1st half vs Killie was the numerous times he came short, took a pass and no one was getting close for him to play a simple lateral pass. Instead he ended up taking additional touches or tried a complex pass / trick and lost the ball.
On Sunday, the 2nd goal pleased me with McGregor showing that if the run from midfield is timed well and genuinely supports Idah, then hope is not lost with our No. 9.
This brings me to my 2nd point. Compare and contrast the set up when McGregor made his for the 2nd goal with the build up to the disallowed St Johnstone goal. For our goal Engels makes a run back, creating space for Idah and filling the hole that McGregor leaves with his run forward. There was no such switch with the disallowed St Johnstone goal, with Engels advanced and wide. Consequently, it was easier for the Centre Half to get closer and apply (illegal) pressure to Idah and a huge gap was also left between our midfield and defence. This left us massively exposed to the transition and gave me massive January Ibrox flashbacks.
My main point though is that the problem with Idah isn’t just about Idah.
If IDah's moves were expected or rehearsed i'd expect more midfield runners anticipating off him but we rarely see that. Which is why is suspect his movement is more off the cuff and therefore less predictable. Celtic are a highly systematised team whether we like that style or not and whilst we do need a sprinkling of fairy dust (Hatate) to not be too predictable, if seems to be to be more functional if the team could rely on Idah's movements more.
I agree with this and that’s my frustration with it all, as there’s a collective cohesion required and the evidence on the pitch is that it’s not there. We can only speculate as to whether that’s not part of the core system or poor application.
As a general rule, I get very nervous if Idah is taking more than 3 consecutive touches of the ball…..
The faux offence of Juco during Alan's spicy rant...lol. Said it before, I will say it again: Spicy Alan is the best Alan.
Isn't it funny that I don't remember the press talking about boredom while Sevco's predecessors illegally spent other peoples' money?
We don't owe other clubs to slow and let them catch us, competition, the very nature of competition is they should be aspiring to do what we do, not asking the meritorious leaders to kneecap themselves to sooth their incompetence and egos.
Hun ass cultured *count*ry, emphasis on the first syllable. See you the day after Monday, ya daft DOB.

Could the consortium buy Sevco, offload debt to the entity and use them as a tool to offload debt vulture capitalist-style?
If they died (again) I would not mourn their loss. Bring on the Dons and Hibs. I didn't miss their fans bile when they were unfairly admitted to the league structure without their qualifying financial docs so they could work back to the SPFL prem to sate their greedy selfish bigoted fans' egos. HH
