Back to the future once again - I forget what iteration we are up to.
This was a performance that felt as warm, safe and cosy as your favourite slippers.
Dominant with the ball, and miserly, one Auston Trusty brain fart permitting, without it.
Goals came at good times and close together to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable afternoon.
Dundee United were very passive, and Celtic were allowed over 14 passes per defensive action (that is a lot).
They likely hoped to frustrate Celtic’s low grade attack, and then pour forward in the second half.
Interestingly, the average position chart herein reminded me of peak Angeball. The team resembled something from the 1920’s in a 2-3-5- shape.
Bhoy of the Match had a few candidates, always a good sign.
