when we push forward, it’s obv he’s told our midfield to get up front, but on a solid back line that results in scales and trusty to be our creatives and try and find passes through their lines. That’s insane, better to have midfield in midfield with line breaking runs, instead they are all on 18 yard line waiting for passes. Repeating the same mistakes over and over and over will crucify this manager. Every game we look good in first 30 mins and then start to lose it. 2nd half’s look like completely different teams. He needs to revert and slowly implement change, as this is not working.

If the performances under Nancy were better and we lost, perhaps due in part to some negative variance, then that would be one thing. Against St Mirren the performance data suggests we deserved to lose. Surely that is the real worry.

Also under BR and MON the talk was of square pegs in round holes. This seems to have been amplified under Nancy where it seems worse than ever.

Agree the St Mirren game was a disappointing setback - much of it in the 2nd half when the players seemed to revert back to MON-period tactics when they were confronted with Robinson's shift to man-to-man marking and leaving Trusty on the ball.

Also agree Nancy is getting some things wrong on fit front, but so did MON and BR...it is inherent to how bad the squad is. MON had McCowan & Nygren at right wing and Engels at RB but the furor was not there because of the result.

Re: losing my YouTube comment : There was a phrase Alan used near the start of the pod (I was almost done) that I forget that really blew out of the water the hope that I was getting a voice of reason, 'things are not that bad' moment here.

Oh, dear.

Alan, can you please avoid your blocks of white in your graphics please, sorry, not sure I was clear on that, think I wasn't clear on what I meant with myself when I communicated my dyslexia and sensory issue. In my defense, it is a communications disability :P

I was thinking the neutral bits on your strengths and weakness graphics where you do green for top third, amber for middle third, red for bottom third of the table relative team attributes.

I really like Juco's colour schemes, easier on, my eyes. Not a style thing, a disability accommodation thing.

Thanks for all the work I hate to ask as the work you put in is very evident. Thanks everyone HH

Spot on guys, as always. From Alan on the excessive nature of Nancy’s alterations in the final (hadn’t thought of the man/to-man corner issue)and players not fully buying-in (Scales’s post-game interview seemingly a case in point); to James on the lack of proper attribution on O’Neill’s tenure that feeds into the sense of how ‘bad’ is been under Nancy; to Laura’s comment on players intelligence being vastly overrated; all of this captures the essence of where we are. When you add the confirmation bias delivered by the media’s disingenuous of Nancy, means we are in a very perilous situation. I’m really worried that Nancy is on X, and posting banal justifications. Seems he is clearly responding to stress but can’t see this in any other way that something that will feed through to the players themselves, compounding the vicious cycle in which we find ourselves.
