Junior Adamu came up through the vaunted RB Salzburg system, where he arrived in July 2015. Following some time at Liefering in Austrian Bundesliga 2 in 2020-2021, he was put out on loan to St. Gallen in Switzerland for the 2nd half of the 2020-2021 season. He was then a rotation option at striker for RB Salzburg during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons, playing 1,641 and 1,283 minutes.
He was then sold to Freiburg for €6 million in July 2023, where he played just 358 minutes across all competitions in the 2023-2024 season, before logging 1,656 minutes in the German Bundesliga 2024-2025 season. Adamu will turn 25 in June.
Can see from the first graphic that he has not played that many minutes so far in his career, but has generally been able to get onto a fair amount of quality chances. He has not been a creative attacking force to date.
