Laura’s back, and the panel dive into Celtic’s upcoming clash with Dundee — and what Alistair Johnston’s return could mean for a side still struggling for attacking rhythm.
I have very limited sympathy for RM. While no one should have to endure that vile sort of abuse, his remuneration will have been substantial, as it is for all managers above a certain level, and he must have had some inclination of what a huge part of that fan base is like. He took the king's shilling!
Spoke with multiple high profile journalists at the time and that attack was likely part of Lawwell's involvement in working with authorities to try and protect players from what apparently was/is an extortion racket by organized crime forcing the use of particular agents.
None of the major papers/journos report(ed) on the issue due to the risks to themselves and their families, as Peter's unfortunately experienced.

Great pod, thanks!
When reacting to the treatment of RM we need to remember the arson attack on Peter Lawell post covid season..

Hi Jonny
Who was responsible for that I can’t recall?
