The four or so fans of The Rangers amidst a pub full of Celtic’s own in the Footnik in Tokyo certainly enjoyed their evening.

A tense silence pervaded the room from the first whistle. Punctuated only by groans at Nick Walsh’s immature performance - surely the experienced official knew in advance the risks of a one sided audience?

However, it was as if folk expected the performance they got, if not the outcome.

We’ve got a week of Derek McInnes being hailed as a tactical genius - well done Martin!

And in the denouement, the focus on individuals and their perceived shortcomings.

When so many get so much wrong, you generally need to look up a level.
