The final Speedboat League series of the year, as Celtic face into a 2026 filled with uncertainty and peril.

Remarkably, Celtic remain in pole position based on underlying performances, but the resilience of that position is precarious to say the least. Many structural issues persist at the club, and positive change seems unlikely.

Whilst The Rangers are saddled with a large, expensive and ineffectual squad, their management has shown that they will change personnel and senior hires to try and improve things.

Heart of Midlothian has already secured the latest batch of undervalued, low-cost talent and will have strengthened.

Meanwhile, at Celtic, stasis, paralysis, a leadership vacuum, and a big pile of cash no one seems to know what to do with.
