Sorry if this has been addressed before, but does anyone else get long spells of silence during the pods now?

Great couple of shows this week as ever 💪

Good episode, gives me hope for Nancy going forward. When you said 0-0 for tonight was a possibility I immediately thought hell I'd take that right now. I just hope we avoid a heavy defeat as the noise around it would be unbearable.

Showing a rondo training session suggests a measure of media savvy. Everybody remembers watching Iniesta, Xavi, Messi and the rest going through those drills and understanding what it would mean come match day.

Really enjoyed this one, thanks!

Anchoring your data and analytics in an appreciation and understanding of context and culture makes the HB content unique and invaluable - and especially so in a world of instant judgement and gratification.

Keep up your great work.

My personal need is that this contributes in its own way to understanding how we improve - and especially so in Europe. Here we have had no sustained success. Indeed over 10 years the club has declined based on the UEFA club rankings.

Thank you for the kind comment - Europe remains the big concern I have with Nancy and anchored similarly to under Ange. Suspect the answer resides largely outside Nancy's control even if his style of play scales. Probably take a material uplift in the quality of recruitment both in level of players and profile fit...long way to go on that front!

Thanks for another great pod. I still feel really positive about Nancy and expect, naively perhaps, that the team will click with his playing style. Fatigue and injuries are a worry, which could lead to more square pegs in round holes so I'm also hoping that some of the players you mentioned, especially Ianachio and Balikwisha with their experience and proven ability, as well as JSP and Inamura, who both sound like they would bring something positive, get brought in to the mix.
