Brilliant podcast this week all. This level of insight and debate on our football club is not available anywhere else even though I do enjoy a couple of the others. The Jota injury is devastating and presents a clear and present danger to our CL hopes. There is a lot of work to do this summer. It feels like this team is coming to the end of its cycle and there is huge potential to make an absolute mess of any squad refresh. Until then I’m going to enjoy the rest of the season and put my faith in the recruitment guys to come up with a couple of game changers at least at domestic level
They are likely to to be significantly better and we are likely to lose most of our first XI and are unlikely to fill their spaces with like quality... a Scooby Doo says: roht row!
I agree with the Sinasalo assessment, he has impressed me. Not spectacular but very encouraging for a young keeper. I feel like as long as the start is indicative of quality and progression he will be ready to be first choice by the time Kasper fades or decides to hang up the gloves. Great thinking about using Sinasalo as League Cup keeper to give him more game time.
I hope the club have the foresight to be talking with the cusp-y players - AJ, CCV, Hatate, Kuhn, Maeda - on what they want so we can be doing due diligence for some succession planning in the transfer market. You'd hate to go in against a seeded UCL qualification team with a bunch of fringe players and guys that have their minds on a move.

We got O'Riley later in that window too. 3 starters.. in JANUARY! If we get market value for Maeda and Hatate, that is a pretty penny made on, what? 6.5m? How much you expect for playmaker Hatate and - 3 POTY awards award winner and top scorer - Maeda?
Be lovely to have the kinda cash you could build teams around better players rather than build revenue from them to speculate in the markets.
